Bug #5
closedx201: power on when plugging powerplug into
0%
Description
even this sound like a minor bug, it's annoying a lot of coreboot users with x201.
because the 1st EC is powering the mainboard up, this must lie somewhere in
the ECs (H8s or pmh8).

Maybe you can use CMOS configs and disable 'power on after fail'.

We tried this setting, doesn't changed it. Power on after fail is only used by
the chipset, maybe the EC does something else.

The problem seems to exists on all lenovo laptops:
The issue was reported on x220 and I had this issue on T530.
The laptop wont power on with battery inserted.
The laptop powers on when AC is plugged in.
The laptop fails to shutdown. After shutdown it starts by itself after a few seconds.

I think this lies in default nvram settings.

Nothing going on for one year and the problem is most probably fixed.
