I've found that this chip is already supported, however i face this issue when trying to autodetect it: Found Generic flash chip "unknown SPI chip (RDID)" (0 kB, SPI) on serprog..
A common issue is that the connectivity to the chip is unstable. If you use wires, then please check that the connection is solid and the wires are not too long. It should be <20cm, I prefer something between 10-15cm at most.
