Description
Wsxga+ screens partition Grub output into a few sections, and one of the sections is blank; so it's hard to use the Grub commandline.

In case you are still interested... I guess you didn't get any response because nobody felt responsible and it's impossible to tell from your description who might know an answer (there are hundreds of different paths that could lead from coreboot to GRUB).
Which device do you use?
How do you initialize the display? native graphics init? Video BIOS?
Do you run it in textmode? or native resolution? or a vesa mode?
Is GRUB your payload. Or do you use SeaBIOS and let it load a GRUB from disk?
