Bug #619
openLenovo T480s headphone jack detection is inconsistent - fix for T480 can be applied.

Description
The headphone jack detection on the Lenovo T480s is inconsistent, where at least in the GNOME desktop, the audio doesn't always automatically switch to the headphone jack.
There was a recent fix for this issue on the T480 with Gerrit Change 90023 .
On my own coreboot builds, I applied the same changes from this Gerrit commit from the file src/mainboard/lenovo/sklkbl_thinkpad/variants/t480/hda_verb.c to the file src/mainboard/lenovo/sklkbl_thinkpad/variants/t480s/hda_verb.c, and the headphone jack is now working properly on my laptop. It would be great to integrate this change for the T480s into the mainline coreboot sources.

curious - any reason you didn't just apply the change and push the fix yourself?

Thank you. In the future, I will take the appropriate steps to submit a patch if I encounter a similar type of fix.

Hey! I was trying to fix this issue on Heads (coreboot based). I have a PR here https://github.com/linuxboot/heads/pull/2037 where I applied the patch that was used https://review.coreboot.org/c/coreboot/+/90482 (This being used in favor of the one mentioned here). After applying the patch, it still fails to switch headphones.
Would you have any suggestions on how I should go about resolving this issue?
