Description

Hynix HMT151R7BFR4C-H9 RAM sticks don't seem to work with Coreboot at all (1, 2, 4 sticks in most slots), from the 4.6 tagged release, the last release reported to work from board status page, and the master branch. Motherboard doesn't proceed to the payload. With Libreboot's 20160907 release however, those Hynix RAM sticks work fine (4x4GB in orange/red slots).

The old RAM sticks I have work fine with Coreboot (4x2GB in orange/red slots), but don't work with Libreboot's 20160907 release. All RAM sticks involved work with ASUS's proprietary BIOS (3303).

I'd like to be able to use those sticks though. Is there anything that can be tried to get them to work? I've tried disabling ECC via nvramtool, but that didn't work.
